Gary Clarke
Gary used to be a stills photographer and it shows in his work. He has the photographer’s ability to capture the meaning and emotion of a scene in a single frame. He has fantastic composition. The first time we worked together was on Testing God. The power of Gary’s composition is what gives Testing God its look. Most recently we worked together on Are We Alone? and Dangerous Knowledge. We had a blast.

Ian Liggett.
Ian is a brave and brilliant cameraman. The first film we made together was Darwin – The Legacy and it was my great good fortune to work with him. On that film and since we tried all sorts of wonderfully risky and beautiful things. We’ve made many others since Darwin, among them Soul Searching. From his graduation film from Film School onwards Ian has had the confidence, ability and vision to push the limits. His lighting is effortless.

Vladimir Trivic
I have only recently started to work with Vladimir. To see why I wanted to work with him, take a look at his show reel. It’s fantastic. You can see it at his web site, www.kinoart.co.uk The most recent film we made together was Voices.

Nalla Muthu
Nalla is one of the finest cameramen in all of Asia. He works out of India. Nalla shot all the Indian sections of Soul Searching. You can see clips of that work at www.Becauseyouthink.tv I found Nalla to have a subtle and sensitive eye. His work is all about mood.
More recently, Nalla was invited to Cannes to show off his work as DoP on the award winning feature film Dharam.

David Runciman
I have worked with David for years. Not only is he a very fine sound recordist he is also a brilliant member of any team. He is wonderfully resourceful and he is great with people. He is the man I would most want to have with me in a difficult location.

Dileep Subramaniam
Dileep is Nalla’s sound recordist. He spends much of his time working in features but has also made many, many documentaries. I have made several films with him including Soul Searching. He is a very fine recordist and always my first choice anywhere in Asia.

Sneh Gupta
Sneh is the best fixer I have ever worked with anywhere. I would be very reluctant indeed to consider filming in India without her. She knows almost everyone and has managed to get us permission to film in places, we were told we would absolutely never be allowed to film.

Sneh understands how to recce, what needs to be set up and the pressures of tight budgets and tight schedules.
